Deftones

Essa é uma banda de metal alternativo americana, vencedora do Grammy Awards, vinda de Sacramento, California, formada em 1988 e que é composta atualmente por Chino Moreno (vocais e guitarra), Stephen Carpenter (guitarra), Sergio Vega (Baixo), Frank Delgado (DJ e sintetizador), and Abe Cunningham (bateria e percussão).
 Com raízes no heavy metal, Deftones sempre teve diversas influências, com seu estilo musical bem diferenciado ao longo de sua carreira. Seu som é descrito por críticos de músicas de várias formas: alternative metal, art rock, dream pop, experimental rock, post-grunge, progressive rock e rap metal. Sua compilação B Sides & Rarities inclui covers de seus artistas favoritos, passando pelo metal, hard rock (Lynyrd Skynyrd), post-hardcore (Helmet e Jawbox), ao rock gótico, art rock, new wave (Duran Duran, Cocteau Twins e The Cure), e misturas com R&B (Sade Adu) e hip-hop (Cypress Hill).
